Many people game on mobile phones I know that. But when it comes to playing powerful games, you need a Console or a PC*
There are some games that do a lot of work simultaneously. So much work is needed to be done in one millisecond that, a Mobile can't handle it. You need something more powerful. Something that can easily do all of this. For that you can take a Console or a gaming PC.
Have you heard of the PS5? Or maybe PS4 or the Xbox? You'll probably see some teenagers playing games on them. They'll be hooked up to a TV. They also have a controller or two with them. Those are called gaming consoles. You can google it up to find some images. But due to international copyright laws, I will not put them here. That is called a gaming console. Now do you know desktops? I have a whole article of them here. But what I also want cleared at the start is that, gaming computers just have "gaming" word in them. They can do everything that regular everyday computers can do.
It depends on what your need is.
•Consoles are easy to pick. You can just pick the most trending one in the market.
•Consoles can have more than 8 people play on them at once.
•Consoles have some games that will help work on fitness.
•You can not add apps other than the ones in the official store.
•You can only use the official controllers.
•Most consoles need expensive paid subscriptions to play most games
•They support all controllers.
•Ping is usually low for PC's when compared to Consoles.
•If the PC is a Desktop, then mostly you can always upgrade it's parts rather than upgrading the thing itself. If you go for a console then you will have to continously buy the latest console
•It can be used for more than just gaming. The computer is just more powerful than regular computers. And that power is only needed for gaming. Which is the reason the name is "gaming". But this means that these computers can do everything moder day computers can do.
•You can easily modify game files or install third-party software to modify game files. Allowing to change something you don't like.
•Games and apps can be downloaded from anywhere and not just the official store. Which means that game prices will go down since game developers won't have to pay a cut of their earnings to the official store.
•Games can run side-by-side if you have capable hardware.
•You need to do prior research of what parts you should consider buying.
•You can never go according to the name. This is a personal experience. I was offered i7 10th gen and an i7 9th gen. I obviously went for 10th gen. Except for I didn't. the i7 9th gen was better infact. So never go on the name. Ever.
•PC is only for one person. Most PC games don't support offline multiplayer.
If you don't want to have limits on what your controller is, don't want to pay ₹500 ($10) every month, don't want to have to hastle of changing the console every few years and are going to be doing more than gaming in your life, go for a gaming PC. But if you will have friends over and are not ready to read about PC parts (there really isn't much to learn, I learnt it in one day), go for the latest console.
*When I say PC I mean any computer that runs Windows 10. This includes, but is not limited to, desktops, laptops and All-in-ones. They may run other Operating systems, but the one reffered here is Windows 10.
